Welcome to Looe

Little Mainstone is an attractive Victorian Guest House, situated in a prime position on West Looe Quay. Offering picturesque views over the little fishing Harbour to the town of East Looe, where you will find narrow cobbled streets leading to shops, tea rooms, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance.

Our Rooms

All of our en-suite rooms are on the 1st floor each offering comfortable beds with cotton bed linen and towels, with walk in shower and complimentary toiletries. You will also find a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. An iron and ironing board are also available by request.

Availability

If you are struggling to find the dates you are looking for give us a call and speak to us direct sometimes we have more availability than is showing on line.

Parking

Car parking is available on site (subject to availability) our parking is at the front of the property which restricts the length of our spaces we therefore unfortunately cannot accommodate pick up trucks vans or motor homes

Looe is however, very well equipped with parking and has many car parks of which the very large Millpool car park is just a 3/4 minute walk from the property.

Our guest house is in a very good location for transport links to explore Cornwall with Looe train station and all bus stops being just a few minutes walk away.

Breakfast

Included in your stay is our excellent breakfast which is served in our lovely dining room overlooking the boats bobbing on the river. We serve a full English breakfast along with toast, cereals, fruit and yoghurts and a variety of beverages we also cater for most dietary requirements.

Outside

From our dining room you can access our small garden at the front of the house where you can sit, relax and reflect. We also have seating on our veranda an ideal place to happily watch the world go by.

I stayed for 2 nights. The room was spotlessly clean and had a beautiful view over Looe harbour. Breakfast was super, a great full English!! Location is absolutely perfect for walking around Looe or visiting further afield. Car parking spaces outside the front door. Can’t wait to go back!!
